Where we come from

A hundred years of good work, brought home.

In 1915, William Prentiss Baker hung a sign in his Raleigh warehouse. It read: we shall do good work, at a profit if we can, at a loss if we must, but always good work. That sign still hangs in our office, and it is still the rule we run on today.

Baker Home Exteriors, part of the Baker Roofing family, carries that name and that promise to the place it matters most: the house you live in. Your roof, your siding, your windows, your gutters, handled by people who answer for the work and plan to be around for the next job.

And we are owned by the people who run the work. The project manager answering your texts, the coordinator who picks up the phone, the team planning your project. When we do right by your home, we do right by our own company. So the honest answer comes first, before any quote.

After a century of good work, Baker becomes 100% employee-owned through an ESOP. Every team member is now an owner.

The fourth generation

The Baker family still leads, and Baker Home Exteriors carries that craft home to the Carolinas.
